"We thought we were going to stay in Losheim, but instead, our FeWo was in Scheiden, a town 5 km. away. Once we got used to having to drive to Losheim for our groceries, it was OK. The apartment was spacious and we were quite comfortable there. The area was very rural, with bike and walking paths throughout. One could actually see the night sky from the bathroom skylight! It was easy to get to neighboring towns, such as Mettlach and Trier, from where we were. Our hosts were friendly and helpful."

"We really enjoyed our stay here. The apartment was very tastefully decorated and clean, overlooking the lovely schloss gardens. Very quick access to St. Johannes Market via the Alte Brucke. Nice quiet neighborhood and a dedicated parking spot through the courtyard. We had a minor issue with the shower draining and the owner took care of it immediately. We felt this apartment offered incredible value for the price. We will try to book this property again when we return to the Saarbrucken...

"Very nice, fully equipped appartment on the ground floor with garden (sun in the afternoon). After arrival (key box), the owner stopped by for a short tour. Cooking oil, spices, kitchen paper, tea, coffee (cups and ground), detergents, coal for the BBQ, everything is there. We did not found the airconditioning which was mentioned in the description (we did not ask the owner, because it was not necessary)."

"Na zoveel positieve reviews waren wij erg benieuwt naar dit huis in het voor ons nog onbekende Saarland/Duitsland. Bij aankomst werden we heel hartelijk ontvangen door de gastheer en gastvrouw. Zij wonen aan de voorkant waar meer dan voldoende parkeerplek is. Via een kort steil paadje kwamen we bij het vakantie verblijf aan de achterzijde. "Face à la Moselle et à l'embouchure de la Sûre en elle, le calme était de la partie. L'espace intérieur du logement était agréable. Prudence toutefois à avoir en personnes âgées là où il y a une ou deux marches à bien contrôler."

The the home is beautiful and clean. The hosts are so friendly and welcoming and prompt to assist when needed. We enjoyed walked along the river and eating at the local restaurants.
