"Location was spectacular. Great view from the patio and restaurant. Short walk down to the beach. The view overlooked all of Polzeath Beach and cove. The food was hit and miss. We had a great starter, but both of our pasta dishes were undercooked (not close to al dente). "We had an amazing time in Padstow and this is a great hotel. The walk into Padstow is more of a light hike, so take appropriate footwear/clothing but it's worth doing - especially if you live in the city and fancy some fresh air and wide open space! The breakfast is incredible (fresh, warm muffins every breakfast, amazing), staff are lovely and it was great value for money. Our only tiny gripe is that we booked a twin and were given a double; the bed was massive so it wasn't an issue for us, but...

"We've stayed here four times now, and the apartment is still as immaculate as the first time we came. It's very well equipped, and ideally placed for getting to lovely coastal walks. Unfortunately our walking was curtailed by Storm Darragh, but the apartment was a warm, comfortable place to stay indoors, if rather noisy in the very strong winds because of its exposed position with views out to the coast!"
