"Check-in was quick, easy, and the front desk staff as well as the valet were always really nice every time I saw them. The room was quite nice and comfortable. There is a rooftop bar on one of the top floor which I thought was going to make it difficult to sleep but it wasn't actually a problem (I was only on the 3rd floor though and I think the bar was on the 7th floor). So generally, its pretty quiet. You're in a nice area within walking distance of some decent enough restaurants and areas to hang out. There's also a grocery store not too far away. I lived in Phoenix for quite a while but never spent too much time down in this part of town. I can't say what the a radius of safety is for this particular hotel but I felt good enough to walk around at night within a one or two-block radius without issue. I didn't venture outside of that though. I would stay here again. It's nice. Convenient. Relatively inexpensive and a great location. "
