"We stayed in lodge 5, which was a small drive to the main area. Property was clean, open, great for 2 couples. The cabin was amongst the horses. Fully functioning kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and BBQ on the porch which is a must."

"This is a cute cabin in a quiet location for a restful stay yet close enough to local amenities. The owners really make you feel at home and go out of their way to give you hints & tips on how to make the most of your trip including beaches, bush walks & dining spots. Over New years the suggestion for local fireworks spots was great & a highlight for the kids. Overall a clean, cosy, well appointed cabin perfect for young families."

The kitchen far surpassed any expectations with stylish crockery & cutlery & all the gadgets associated with a luxury getaway! "Mist in the Gums is the most peaceful place and quite beautiful. Carol is an excellent host and very friendly. The cabin was so clean and had everything you would need. I would thoroughly recommend Mist in the Gums to anyone. please keep in mind it is quite a way from Lake Macquarie."
