The Behrens Lofts are located in the historic railroad warehouse district of downtown Waco. The lofts are within walking distance of Baylor University, the dining, retail and entertainment areas of downtown Waco, and Magnolia Market and The Silos. This is a thriving and growing downtown Waco area filled with rich history and endless activities and

Waco Vacation Rentals manages the property and is available to respond to any questions you have about the property or the check in process. You will be emailed a digital welcome LINK with area information 7 days before your stay, complete with popular places to see, favorite restaurants and things to do in Waco.
On the day of your arrival, you will receive a TEXT message and an EMAIL with access information at 1:00 pm Central Time for your vacation rental. This is self check in property at 3 p.m or after.


Loft living in Downtown Waco! Just 2 blocks away and within walking distance to the Silo District, this 4th floor loft has spectacular balcony views of downtown Waco and the Silos.


You will have access to the entire loft

The loft is located on the 4th floor and there is an elevator for your use. Upon entrance you will see luggage carts to transport your luggage on the elevator to the 4th floor. There are no stairs once inside the loft. There are stairs and a ramp to the entrance outside.
Behrens Loft has a community work out room for your use during your stay. It is located on the ground floor near the front door elevator.

Baylor Parents weekend
Had a great stay visiting our daughters for family weekend. This was a great home base as we drove back and forth to campus numerous times daily. So convenient. The little amenities were such a great touch! Really great job by management. Note: important to know that the bedrooms don’t have a ceiling so you can hear hear everything. Fine if all family. Awkward if two couples, etc Wonderful stay overall!

Another great stay!
This is the second time we’ve stayed in this particular property. This is. It by mistake. Excellent location. Close to campus and easy access to lots of restaurants. All the necessary amenities. Would definitely recommend. Will be back!!! The Lofts are by far our most favorite place to stay when we’re in town.

Another 10/10 Stay!
Every Waco Vacation Rental I've booked has been a wonderful experience in terms of communication, cleanliness, amenities, and proximity to Baylor's campus, restaurants, shopping, etc. The Waco Loft was no exception! It's within walking distance to Magnolia, Spice Village, and multiple restaurants - if you don't mind a little extra walking, it's an easy, although little longer, walk to Baylor's campus as well. It was the perfect home base to drop our son off for the start of his freshman year. One thing light sleepers should be aware of is that this is a true loft-style apartment in the respect that bedroom walls do not meet the ceiling. Lights from the rest of the loft WILL shine into bedrooms and sounds are a little more obvious. Nothing an eye mask and a pair of earplugs won't solve, though. The pros far outweigh this minor inconvenience and we will definitely be back!

I was given the wrong code to get into the building. I could not get an answer from the rental company. Luckily, a very nice building maintenance man provided me with the new door code to get into the building. He stated the code has been changed over a week prior, and the rental company should have updated me with a new code on the day of my arrival. The condo was nice and clean but was not quite at all. The neighbors kept us awake until after 2:00am both Friday and Saturday night.

Very clean and well maintained
One of the cleanest and well decorated place we’ve stayed in. Very close to Baylor. Only downside is the parking is across the street and there are limited spaces that don’t have reserved signs. Overall great place to stay especially if you want to be close to campus and downtown.

A few issues with the condo. The bathtub drain smells awful. The whole unit smelled when we arrived. The kitchen sink Mount was failing, the sink is falling off. The water filter in the fridge needs to be changed. The space was nice

This Loft is a gem
This is our second time staying in a Berhen’s loft. Love, love the location. In walking distance to Waco’s main attractions as well as restaurants. Also very close to the Baylor campus which is a plus. Loft itself was decorated impeccably. Had everything to fit our needs. Only complaint was a horrible smell in the hallway and upon entering the unit. We noticed it more profoundly when the best was on. Something that should be checked out. Other than that would definitely recommend. One last complaint is that we weren’t provided check in details until 2 hours prior to when we could actually check in. In previous rentals via VRBO this was provided in advance.

Nice unit located in great spot for visiting magnolia. Communication was great with host. Only downfall about the place was the oder in the unit that was tough to try to eliminate and ignore.

Enjoyed our time. Well appointed loft condo, comfortable beds, and location was perfect. Only negative was the requirements to strip bedding and wash them. For the daily cost to rent, I would expect that would be a part services and thought it was odd.
