"It wasn't easy to find the property, as it was behind a big barn, so from the road you can't find it. Their was no reception, just a farmer that saw us and brought us to the place. The property looks fantastic and has a cozy vibe to it. 1 thing I want to point is, there were cobwebs around the ceilings, so it could have done with a better clean. But overal we had a good stay."

Mooi dorp met winkels en horeca. minpunten: GEEN HORREN! De muggen ook komen binnen als raam in ventilatiestand is. Geen speeltoestellen voor kinderen. Zithoek klein. Stapelbedden zijn niet geluidsarm. 5 buiten stoelen voor 12 personen. "

"Our family of 7 enjoyed our vacation over Christmas at this property. The owners were wonderfully kind to communicate with, rent from, and decorated for the holiday so my daughters would feel welcome. The space is wonderful for a large family or perhaps for 2-3 smaller groups. I would definitely rent again. I would highly recommend in the spring and summer as I’m sure the garden is amazingly beautiful—it was even enjoyable in December. Thank you again, Barkeys!"

"We stayed four nights in this cottage which is relatively close to the motorway between Holland and Germany. It is a very spacious cottage, converted from an old farm building, in the grounds of a small hotel. The setting is very rural, and therefore peaceful. Nearest village is 2-3 km away. The cottage is furnished in a very traditional (old fashioned?) way, but has clearly been very recently modernised so kitchen and bathrooms are very well appointed. "Slechte communicatie met eigenaar. Drama met sleutel ophalen, sauna defect, wirlpool was niet beschikbaar 1e dag. Tot 2x toe om handdoeken te vragen, er lagen 4 kleine voor 5 personen. Div lampen en wandcontactdozen defect, huisje was niet schoon. Er zat nog een oude beschimmelde koffiepad in het koffieapparaat. Tv's op de slaapkamers dezen het niet. En de weg er naartoe was een zandweg met ontzettend grote kuilen erin van zo'n 700 meter lang."

"Der Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war sehr schön, aber es gibt ein paar Kleinigkeiten die sich verbessern können. Zum einen war die Unterkunft nicht ganz sauber, der Badezimmerboden war nicht so sauber und der Teppich im Wohnraum war auch nicht gesaugt es waren Haarbüschel drauf und Flecken drin. Desweiteren ist der Rauchmelder in den letzten 3 Tagen Tagsüber bzw. Nachts ohne einen Grund ausgelöst. Was ein schlafen in der letzten Nacht nicht sehr angenehm machte ,da 3 x der Alarm los ging. Idyllisch...
