"My biggest regret for our trip to Crete was only staying one night at La Maison Ottaman. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated and designed, and incredibly comfortable. The location and size ( only 3 rooms total!) of the hotel meant it was peaceful and quiet while still being minutes from the center of Old Town. "This is a self-service hotel where you will receive the location and door code along with the key which associates to your room. The room had the basic necessities such as soap, towels and WiFi which were all I needed. The only issue I had was activating the A/C which did not work even after closing the window. Overall, I enjoyed Chania and TheJoy hotel and would come back again!"

"Our stay at Anotolia Charming was so amazing, the room and the service were both superb. Only a short stroll from the old port with shopping and restaurants and an amazing vibe all round. The lady at the desk was so helpful and assisted us with several local calls to retrieve some items we had left on another island - we can't thank her enough!! Definitely stay here you won't regret it!"

"Upon our arrival we were upgraded to a suite and it was excellent. the front desk staff were super accommodating and always seemed to be working, no matter the hours. The rooms are spacious and super clean. We rented a car and there was underground parking. We love walking and could easily walk to the old town ( about 20 minutes) and eat and shop. However, there was also an amazing bakery about one block ( around the corner)from our hotel where we picked up breakfast and sandwiches for the day....

"The owner is amazing. My phone had died so I didn't directions to get to the hotel. I found a shop owner that called her and she walked 10 minutes to where I was and walked me back. Each room is individualize and mine had a private entrance. There were lots of personal touches that made the place feel special. I can't recommend this hotel more. If I am ever back in Chania I will stay here again."

"Pros: Honestly one of the best hotels I have stayed at by far. Very convenient location which makes for a very walkable experience. It was a great feeling being able to shop and then drop my purchases off within minutes or heading home from "The Strip" of bars. The staff is very kind and Maximo and Anna were very kind. If you have the pleasure of meeting Andre as your bartender try the old fashion his are great and not your typical old fashion. Rooms are very clean well put together. Bed is bit firm (I prefer this) the bedding itself is quite soft. and if there is anything the last person before you damaged it is made know so you do not experience any unpleasant surprises. Cons: Honestly none. Retrospect: The only possible one is if you are a health nut and want to bench 600lbs or something along those lines. There is a treadmill, rowing machine ;please be aware that the straps are bit worn and tough to use so your feet will slide since the holders are a bit worn. Free weights: range up to about 15lbs but are of a sand bagged variety . There are towels for yourself but not to wipe down the equipment (Staff takes care of his ). there is also a bike and i recall a bosu ball and blocks If you want to use the sauna advise the staff 20 mins ahead as it takes time to warm and is not on indefinitely. "
