"There were 9 of us there for the better part of two weeks and we all had a lovely time. Bathrooms were large and modern. It was terrific having a deck with a shaded picnic table for everyone to hang out. The pond is picturesque, if a little ripe, and the local walks and hikes are very pleasing. Renovations are ongoing: the place still needs some work, but overall it was very good."

Leider musste man sich Bettwäsche und Handtücher ausleihen (wußte wir vorher), was prinzipiell nicht das Problem ist, aber schade, dass man nicht vorher gefragt wird, sondern mehrfach zur Rezeption laufen muss. Die Info an der Rezi daher eher dürftig. Das Bettzeug selber passt nicht in die Bettwäsche. Das Haus selber auch nicht besonders gemütlich. "Beautiful property and well maintained. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only complaints are that the dining options were very slim in the area after like 7pm, and there was a list of requests posted in multiple areas of the room that "for the environment you should turn off the water when brushing your teeth and turn off the water while washing your body in the shower" which was peculiar. I am environmentally conscious and still found that unpleasant to be asked of from a place I paid to stay in. "
