"We stayed for 2 nights at The Rutland Arms. Overall a great hotel. Parking at the hotel is very limited so you need to arrive at just the right time to get in their car park (between 11am-12pm). Otherwise you need to park in public car park nearby, which are plentiful and only charge £1 for overnight parking. The food & service were brilliant. Decor in main areas was really eye catching. Everyone went out of their way to be kind and helpful, even helping when our plans to tour local sites got messed up by a very heavy winter storm that caused power outages. Dinner at the hotel restaurant was a bit pricey, but excellent quality and our servers could not have been better. Breakfast every morning was delicious and, again, our server was lovely.
