When I first received the contract and 27 page, what you need to know, book, I sighed. But printed it off and it was appreciated for its thoroughness. The unit was modern, clean and well supplied. "This quiet, comfortable Annecy apartment is within reasonable walking distance of lake, old town, groceries, shopping, and restaurants. The kitchen is very well equipped. Secure garage parking is available, but costs an additional 20 Euro per night. Also, the security deposit is made in cash, which we had not expected.The shower is adequate, although it drains slowly – just a head’s up! We were surprised by a puddle our first morning. Also, a small supply of dish washer and laundry detergent...

"Wij hebben een hele fijne week gehad. Fijn appartement, alles zoals beschreven en alles op loopafstand. 10 Minuten lopen van het gezellige centrum, 5 minuten naar de bakker en de supermarkt, 15 minuten lopen naar het strand. We hebben rondom het meer gefietst, echt een aanrader (ca 40 km). Honden zijn overdag niet welkom op het strand. Vandaar dat ik iedere ochtend en soms ‘s avonds met onze hond naar het water ging en dan kon ze er wel in. "

"Property is mainly clean. Has every thing you would ever need except WiFi. I thought we'd be able to use wifi at the restaurants but we never found any. Only other downside about the place was the brush cotton(?) PLASTIC sheet it was impossibly to sleep on as it incredibly hot. We had brought some bedding from home so we used that.we couldnt see how this sheet could be washed as it wouldnt have fitted in a standard washing machine. Unfortunately the hosts English was worse than our French...

"The view from this apt is amazing. The kitchen has everything needed for cooking. The communication in leading up to our stay was minimal. We often had to wait a day or so for simple questions. We had difficulty getting into wifi. Some of this was due to the influx of wifi users visiting the olympics. After the 3rd day we got access but the wifi was not secure. A handbook of how to run various appliances would be helpful (heater, towel bars, etc.) Also we had anxiety each time we used the key...

"This property was convenient to Old Town Annecy & walkable to restaurants & shops. It was extremely difficult to find as local traffic was awful & so many 1-way streets. The area outside was quite loud. Our room smelled like stale smoke although it was listed as smoke free. The breakfast was delicious!"
