"We enjoyed our stay. The house was clean & had everything we needed for 1 night. The location was easy to find & close to town but the neighborhood was quiet. We would stay here again!"

"Easy to check in, everything was clean. We had some hiccups with the heat and the owner was quick to respond to help. Great location and quiet area. Good for a group. "

"Location was central for our needs. Nice to have stores and restaurants nearby. Two car garage was spacious enough for two minivans. Beds were comfy. Everything was in working order and plenty of towels, linens, pillows, etc. "

"All in all the property is very beautiful. Was a wonderful back drop for photos. There were a few problems. Cleaning lady was there past checkin for a couple of hours and did a sub par job (dirty linen, floors and glass) some lights were not working. Missing remotes and only one television worked. No instructions for audio system. I’m glad we chose this property however more attention needs to be given to cleaning and details. "

"My wife and I planned a family vacation for Thanksgiving, but as it turned out, not everyone was able to get the week off. We decided to leave early and find a halfway point to stay by ourselves. We are so glad we found Hook, Wine and Sinker. What a gem. The decor is fresh and up to date, the setting is quiet and peaceful, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was a great place for us to decompress. We enjoyed every minute. Thanks for sharing your place with us."

"We have Texas and Louisiana Family . The House was a perfect gathering space for us for 3 nights . Plenty of room ,very clean and everything we needed to cook a cajun style Thanksgiving . Tonia was great to communicate with and always available . We will be renting in the future."

"Always a great experience with Josh. Nice house, great amenities and awesome location for fishing. Sleeps 7 with no bunk beds and that makes the difference. Dont pass this place up if youre in Hackberry. Super host and facility. "

"The attention to detail was unsurpassed. It was a beautiful home and very comfortable. I was there to surprise my best friend on her 73 rd birthday. And boy was she surprised. We had food brought in and it was an amazing time with friends that I call family. I will recommend this place to all. Thanks for having me. "
