"We had a great stay and enjoyed the house and dock a lot. Luckily I am a planner and brought everything under the sun because there were not a lot of extra supplies (such as dishwasher pods & tp) and there were no seasonings you could use. Some places have at least some basics but this did not. We have stayed at many places and I just bring whatever I think I will need. The Publix in Cullman does deliver which surprised me. I was greeted with complimentary wine, chocolate, popcorn and a lovely sunset over the lake that I could view from windows lining the back of the house. The kitchen setup was great, easy for entertaining, with an extra refrigerator in the basement as well. There were a few issues regarding cleanliness and some equipment, but the hosts were very quick to respond. Would stay again."

Bring your kayaks boats and jet ski as there is a dock ready to use. You may want to check water levels and such. Lewis Smith Lake is a nice lake !!!
