"The day before we arrived we where asked via text if we need linen and towels. We said yes. The evening we arrived no towels or linen. We called the concierge contact he said sorry and he could not make it that evening so no sheets or towels, but next morning he will come early. So after a long day we had no linen. He did not make it next morning either, we sat all morning waiting, so I bought towels and we went about our day. That evening there where towels and sheets available at the door. So...

"The location of the house was superb for morning and afternoons on the beach for swimming, relaxing and introducing a toddler to the sea. The house itself was beautifully equipped and comfortable for us all, and the small town perfect for early morning coffee and excellent croissants with a choice of small restaurants for other meals. Great location for exploring the sights of Normandy too."

"This property offer a lot to a vacationer. A lot of Beds and Baths means everyone gets what they need. So many amenities . On street parking was not a problem since it is a dead end street. A few learning curves to handle for someone visiting from another country. Still, it is worth the effort."

La femme de ménage encore sur les lieux à notre arrivée, nous précise qu'il n'y a pas de lumière dans la salle de bain, à nous de nous débrouiller ... "Très jolie maison ancienne, idéalement située. Tout se fait à pied que ce soir le marché, les rues commerçantes avec leurs nombreux restaurants, le casino et bien sûr la plage. Maison très bien équipée, et propre. Communication très fluide avec les propriétaires. Bref, un séjour parfait (le temps était au rendez-vous en plus !) et une une maison que nous relouerons certainement."

"This was a delightfully comfortable stay in a classic family home. It honestly was so sweet and the backyard was a delight. We even got to cook out. The town of Houlgate is so charming and walkable. Make sure to visit the mid week market that is one block down from this home. Renting a bike from the local business gave more reach to our wanderings and the sunsets over the beach are amazing. This stay was a delight and Sophie was wonderful and so accommodating."
