The location is great, the auberge is in a village which feels very secluded because of the surrounding forest but is in reality perfectly placed as a staging post to or from southern France. "Room was fine , but staff a bit remote in communication ( which was only in French ) Dinner was very average and certainly not good value for money. So we have taken a different route and a different hotel on our journey back to the UK ."

From the moment we arrived, we were treated with unparalleled warmth and care. The gracious hotel manager, Ms. Lucie Jarry, personally welcomed us and provided an exclusive introduction to this magnificent property, leaving an indelible impression on us from the start. We stayed in the family two-story suite, which was not only perfectly suited to our family of four but also an absolute delight. The spacious layout, thoughtful design, and playful charm made it an unforgettable part of our stay. The hotel’s thoughtfulness was truly exceptional. Prior to our arrival, we mentioned that it was our daughter’s 10th birthday. To our delight, they surprised her with a beautifully crafted chocolate dessert and a charming stuffed animal, creating a magical moment that touched our hearts. This thoughtful gesture perfectly encapsulated the extraordinary level of care and attention to detail that defines Fleur de Loire. The culinary experience was nothing short of exceptional.
