Our biggest frustration was with Gael the owner. €190 worth of extra costs, were not detailed until after our booking, and the host threatened to cancel if we didn't pay them. "5 of us stayed here for a boys ski trip. It is a lovely apartment. It is brighter than it looks in the photos, and fairly spacious given the location. You can ski down to the village, and it's only a short walk back at the end of the day. The room specs are slightly confusing - but there are 3 separate bedrooms, plus a foldaway and a sofa bed in the shared space. It was plenty of room for us. Finally, Frederic did everything we needed as a host - thank you!"

"The apartment itself is lovely. Very homely and comfortable. We are a family of 5 with 2 older teens and the accommodation provided good space for all. The owner communicated really well so we knew what would happen on our arrival. They had turned on the heating and this was lovely when arriving on a cold day and after a long drive ! Literally everything you could want or need for a positive stay. Lots of crockery and cookware - a washing machine and plenty of bedding. ! Can’t fault in any way...

"Great location close to Porte du Soleil lift, which made it easy to access the whole ski area. Cosy apartment that served us well. We were a party of two friends. Once of us used the bedroom and the other the bunkbed, which was very comfortable. It was a 15 minute brisk walk into town in the evening to access all that this fabulous resort has to offer by way of excellent bars and restaurants. We loved it and will return. "

"What a gem! We had a lovely 2-night stay at Alparthotel surrounding one day of skiing at Champery. The hotel is lovely, quiet, and clean. It is an easy walk from the Chemin de Verger bus stop.
