"Although the property seems smaller than anticipated, it was still comfortable. It can do well with larger indoor spaces as the rain over the last couple of days confined us so. The TV reception dropped off a few times and there aren’t enough toilet papers resulting in us having to buy some in town."

"We had the best time staying at Mountain Lodge Sawmill Settlement. It had everything we needed plus more. It was lovely and warm and catered for the right amount of people. Even enough teaspoons for all!!! Tania was amazing to deal with. Highlight was the visit in the morning from the King parrots."

"It’s nothing like the photos or the description. Online it says there’s hot water, a tv and room for twelve people however none of that was true. There was also only one 2 seater couch unlike the photos. This cabin is not the same as the photos provided and especially since there’s very cold weather yet we had no hot water."

"We came overnight we enjoyed the parrots who came and joined us on the balcony for breakfast. Lots of things to do for the brief time we were there. Stairs not infant protected but we improvised with the fire grate. Television successfully baffled my tech savvy wise adult children but that was great to get us downstairs to enjoy real entertainment. Might irritate others! Shops a distance away need to be prepared, as we were."

What we don't like: no wheelchair access, access to property from the street was rather a struggle, what up in the snow before reaching the stairs, utensils/appliances were not clean/ worn out (suggest to replace some of them), oven was not cleaned."
