"The hotel was a little walk from downtown, but I felt comfortable walking through the neighborhoods at night. It was very easy to walk from the train station to the hotel and then from the hotel to downtown Villach. The ladies at the front desk were very friendly and helpful; the manager was positively the best. She gave me great recommendations and was very quick in responding to my emails. My only regret is that I didn't get a chance to meet her to thank her in person. "

"Spent amazing 3 nights at the thermen resort. Reception staff was extremely helpful in providing free train service card, directions for free laundry within the hotel. Apart from the wonderful sauna and infrared cabins to use, the amazing surprise was the restaurant in the next door hotel serving avocado vegan samosas(mouthwatering). "

"Hotel City is ideal for a short or extended stay in Villach. Courteous and friendly staff, comfortable rooms and excellent staff. A great breakfast is included in price. Location couldn’t be better-across square from railway station, beside bus terminal and convenient to centre of town which is only a few minutes stroll. Highly recommended "

"Comfortable and well maintained, this was excellent value for a one week stay. It is a short walk from bus & train stops, and a slightly longer walk to the centre, but nothing too strenuous. Oh, and the WiFi is very fast. "

"I spent one night at Hotel Warmbaderh. It was absolutely lovely. The hotel arranged for my pickup/dropoff at the bus station. The staff were friendly and helpful.The room and facilities were clean. The dinner and breakfast were delicious! I used the spa at the hotel as well as the included spa services at Terme Karnten. I'm already trying to find a time to go back for longer, as I discovered that there are extensive hiking trails adjacent to the hotel as well. It is a little pricey during the...

"We weren’t expecting much, just a basic room as Villach was just a stopover for us not a place we intended to spend a lot of time. The room was damp and had a musty smell. It’s probably better in the nice weather when you can open the side door and sit outside or go for a swim (the pool was full of leaves and flowers that needed to be cleaned out). "

"Cozy, well stocked, and perfectly located suite! Everything was within walking distance, including the bus/train station. There weren’t many English channels on TV (totally expected that), but they do have YouTube, Netflix, etc. Cute little set up and lots of light. Self check in/out was easy, and it was just the perfect place to stay right in the city. I’d absolutely return. "

"We really enjoyed our time here. The owner warmed it in advance so that we would be comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need and the bathroom was nice as well. We loved having a tub for the children to bathe in. We also enjoyed the sauna/wellness room very much, but it is a separate entrance and is a shared space."

"Wonderful hotel with great amenities, including access to the swimming pool and a complimentary buffet breakfast. It's in a lovely location, right on the banks of Lake Bled. We opted for a "Park View" rather than a "Lake View", which meant our balcony was overlooking the car park and the road, so was a little noisy during the day. Next time we would pay the extra for a lake view. Despite that, we loved our stay and would absolutely return to this hotel. "
