I really loved my stay here The staff at reception were so friendly and welcoming, they packed me a takeaway breakfast as I was leaving at 6am for a hike Very clean and great facilities I stayed on a room on the top floor which was quiet and good for sleeping

Could not fault our stay. We very much appreciated the luggage storage and being allowed to spend our last few hours sitting on the terrace before we needed to leave to catch bus back to Ljubljana. Staff very helpful.

Hotel Kompas was the perfect hotel for our 2 night stay in Bled. Check-in was easy, staff are all friendly. Breakfast was good - great selection of food and all tasty. The hotel is in a good location, easy to walk around and experience Bled.

Excellent Hotel
Booked as a two night stopover in Bled after a walking trip in the Julian Alps. Booked two twin rooms, both very clean, comfortable, practical and quiet. Breakfast is excellent with a wide choice of cold and hot dishes to pick from. The hotel is very well located with views of Lake Bled, the mountains and castle. The swimming pool and hot tub were a welcome relief after the walking trip and it was a great place to relax and wind down. It's a short walk to the town with it's many restaurants and bars.,

Good location, staff very helpful, breakfast was good also with plenty of selection. Loved the pool and hot tub room. Bedroom was a bit tired though, air con was super hot even on a cool setting and room suffered because of it.

The stay was satisfactory. The bedrooms were newly renovated, but the bathrooms were not. The cleanliness was below average, as we had stained sheets and gum on the carpet. The air conditioner did not work in the first room, but we were kindly moved. Pedra, the masseuse, was excellent!! My friend and I felt very rejuvenated after.

I booked room with 18 sqm and balcony. Never ever I can believe the room was 18 sqm, even not if bathroom and balcony is included. We could not sit together on the balcony, it was max 1 sqm and good for small table and one chair only. If hotel promotes Sauna etc, I definitely expect it to be included - and not that I need to pay 10 € for 3 hours - per person.

Really great place to stay, slightly noisy
We had a lovely stay here! Buffet dinner got us right back on our feet after we had a long day of driving behind us. Staff was friendly, rooms were clean if not a little poorly isolated. However do not expect the promised lake view .. the hotel is literally too far away & in between too many buildings to see the lake in Bled.

We loved the traditional nature of the property and of course its position in relation to the lake. It is really handy for everything and the views off the balcony are excellent. I enjoyed a nice swim although it is just a pool for relaxation really and not large enough for proper swimming. Hot tub with a view lovely though. Breakfast was really good with lots of variety. We didn’t eat in the restaurant in the evenings as we wanted to explore the town, so can’t comment on food more generally. A couple of lovely little touches that we really appreciated - a little leaving gift at reception and small postcards on reception that that hotel will mail for you free of charge. Overall a really nice stay - we would come again.

Mucb better than I had antipated.
The hotel was better than i had expected. Recently refurbished bedroom and breakfast room. Bathroom was original but immaculately clean and lots of hot water from a powerful shower. Nice towels and bed linens. Breakfast was a great choice with freshly brewed coffee and tea options. The locstion is ideal for the lake and for town. Just a few minutes walk from both. Plenty of free parking too which is a blessing in Bled. If you are considerinh booking do it. We had a lake view room on the 2nd floor.

Lovely location but uncomfortable rooms
The hotel is in a perfect location for Lake Bled. I had a nice room, recently refurbished (excluding the bathroom). But it was extremely warm - the ac controls were useless. There was a portable unit but it was extremely loud. The bed was one of the most uncomfortable I have slept on. The staff were, however, very helpful when I had any questions.

We did Stay two days. The First day the air conditioning as well as the lift were Not working. We were under the roof and the temperature was very high. We did pay the Full Price despite this situation. Price is high (as everything in Bled). Hotel is loud. A lot of noise in the reception area that we could hear in our room. Only the breakfast was correct.

Nice hotel, we were disappointed to be given the most pathetically small balcony despite being told it was pot luck which one we got. Only one person could fit onto it which meant we couldn’t use the room how we wanted as we’d booked a balcony to sit outside after our baby went to sleep - poor that they decided who gets a big or small one despite them being the same size. Hotel was well located for lake bled only 5 mins walk away. Breakfast was good. Room was small but comfortable, bathroom a little dated. Pool area was nice and the indoor pool good with outside seating great in the hot weather. Some entertainment was provided on some nights which was good and made a bit of an atmosphere for an otherwise small and quiet bar (which had a great view). Not great with a baby as they have us a room we had to use stairs to get to which was very difficult with a pram. If I went back to bled, I’d probably go for another option.
