"We loved this property. We were looking for something authentic and this was definitely it. This apartment had lots of character and ambience. it was well equipped for cooking and living. We loved the spiral staircase and the bedroom on the upper level. We also built a fire in the outdoor fireplace. The grocery store up the street was fantastic along with the fact that it had fill your own bottle of red or white wine."

"We spent very nice vacation days at Lake Como. The apartment is located in a house built into the mountain. Therefore, you have to climb some stairs to get to the apartment, but then you are rewarded by a beautiful apartment with a fantastic view. We felt very comfortable."

"Unsere Anreise war durch eine Autopanne um fünf Stunden verspätet. In Dunkelheit und im Regen begaben wir uns auf die Suche nach dem Schlüssel. Die angegebene Adresse war nicht ganz korrekt - abgesehen davon, dass der Straßenname an einer Hausfassade ausgeblichen und unlesbar war konnten wir auch die angegebene Hausnummer 9 nicht finden. "Cosy small and practical (there's even bedsheets and towels) mountain house. The 30 minutes mountain road to get to the lake was not a problem for us, the view from the road is absolutely stunning. For hikers there are multiples options directly from the house. Despite being quite isolated, the village is populated."

"Jolie maison, propre et tres bien équipée avec terrasse avec une belle vue sur le Lac de Côme a 10mn de Menaggio. Place de parking devant la maison et commerces et plage au centre du village accessibles a 5mn a pieds. Nous avons été tres bien reçus par les propriétaires. Jardin avec belle vue sur le lac accessible par quelques marches au dessus de la maison, très typique au Lac de Côme. Restaurant au village avec très bonnes pizzas! Nous recommandons!"

We had previously stayed at Villa D’Este for our honeymoon and found that Sans Souci offered so much more for us. We enjoyed all the surrounding villages and restaurants and felt compelled to return to the villa just to relax and take in the views and sounds of birds and church bells. "Insgesamt hatten wir einen schönen Urlaubsaufenthalt - was natürlich auch an der tollen Gegend und den vielfältigen Möglichkeiten für Unternehmungen in der Nähe und rund um den Lago liegt. Wir waren ohne Auto unterwegs, konnten aber zu Fuß und auch mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln (vom nahen Bahnhof aus) viel unternehmen.
