"Beautiful property with lovely views with everything you could possibly need catered for. The swimming pool was always inviting and Sofia was always at hand when needed. I would highly recommend this property for anyone looking to get away from it all but still within a short drive from the lovely town of Ponte de Lima and also only half hour drive from the likes of Braga and 40 minutes from Porto which were all worth a visit."

"We spent a wonderful 6 days at Casa Grande Carlota. Antonio was very helpful with any enquiries we had before our trip and we were greeted warmly on our arrival. The house is exactly as described - or even better. We were amazed at how well equipped it was. The pool is great and there are so many different areas to sit and relax both inside and outside. The covered barbecue area/outdoor kitchen is brilliant and we ate out there every night. There is a very good supermarket in Terras de Bouro....

"This is an excellent property in a beautiful setting. As well as the pool, the house is surrounded by a wonderful garden with orchard, vines, and shaded spots. The very welcoming owner lives next door and went out of his way to make our stay comfortable and interesting - he gave us his own wine, vegetables from the garden and arranged for the local baker to deliver every day. "This guy needs to communicate with guests better. I requested how to get in the day before, then twice the morning of my arrival. I didn't hear from him until 2:30 pm and check in was at 3. I was in Braga at that point and had to go wait in a cafe until I got his email. (It was raining) When I showed up at the place, a couple was outside trying to get in. Then later, after I returned around 8 pm, another couple was outside who couldn't get in. I let them in."
