"We loved our 3 night stay in AP Maria Nova Lounge. We had a pool view room which had all the amenities and space you could need and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. The choice and quality of food at breakfast were excellent and the gentleman playing the piano was a lovely addition. Whilst we didn't have an evening meal at the hotel because there was so much choice in town, which was a stone's throw away, we did go up to the bar on occassion which had wonderful views across Tavira and was reasonably priced. Finally the swimming pools and spa facilities were the icing on the cake! Yes there are some building works going on in the area but thay didn't stop our enjoyment and we would definitely go back."

"Great hotel in a residential rather than tourist area within easy walking distance of the historic town. The hotel itself is within the Ria Shopping Centre on the 2nd floor with lift access and is very modern and clean. Good breakfast and free hot drinks available throughout the day. Would recommend."

"Very quiet room and really comfortable. I just wanted a comfortable room to relax and recharge. I didn't use the pool or general amenities. Staff very friendly. I'd definitely stay again if in Monte Gordo"

"Great hotel in Monte Gordo, we had a fabulous stay in a wonderful town with amazing beach and very close to the Spanish border. Staff were grand, we had a very good buffet breakfast, main items to choose from. Very close to beach and shops. If needed there is a 2 1/2 mile walk to the border town of Vila Real de Santo Antonio along a straight road but the beach walk is glorious although twice the distance. Beach is just fantastic. Was a small fishing village before tourism and no natural harbour so the fishing boats are launched by tractor pushing them into the sea. Many eateries, cafes etc in the town. The bed we had was very comfy and the shower was so lovely , with power and heat. Also had a fridge in the room. Would recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again. Cheers 😁😁"
