"Bedding and towels and toilet roll not replaced, only one pillow each and never anyone on the desk, you had to call a number to contact anyone. Over all it was clean and very well priced. We felt we had no choice but to comply - it should not have been like that. In the rush to vacate our rooms we forgot we had to pay cash, rather than the credit card details given on booking. "Wonderful to experience one of these old farmhouse homes for the first time. Full of charm. Amazing old tiled breakfast room and very generous breakfast. A hiccup with finding the place but this was due to address on this website being wrongly listed by the tourist office as the road name had been changed. Local police most helpful, as was the kind local man who took us to the nearby police station. The Portuguese are wonderful people. The owner of the home was most courteous and spoke good...

"The owners mother was half an hour late to let us into the property meaning we were standing in 40 degree heat waiting for her, no apology once she arrived! The property was clean and tidy and the rooms were a good size. The rooms had air conditioning but it failed to cool all of the bedroom and it was very noisy meaning that it was impossible to keep on all night. "Luna Chalet are rustic chalets, and I must admit that the unit given to us was very comfortable with great views. Nice bedding, good towels, all dishes and soap needed. The only negative is that they supply the nespresso type machines but with no pods. It would have been nice to have coffee in the morning. A lot of channels on the television also. "Our stay was most enjoyable. Staff was welcoming and very helpful. Our room was convenient. Elevator access is helpful. The location is optimal, with sites, shopping and dining all very close and an easy walk. We would certainly return it we find ourself in the great city of Viseu again."
