"The two storey cottage was lovely, completely renovated whilst still retaining its traditional character. Metal spiral staircase quite thin, so we left our heavy bags downstairs. Lovely simple original back yard with orange tree and flowers, plus garden setting. Downstairs a little dark, but this is the nature of a traditional stone cottage. Village very quiet, no restaurants or shops, however nearest are about 10mins away by car,so not a problem. We had a lovely relaxing stay."

"Had a lovely time staying here only spoiled by the very awkward steps into the property which is supposed to wheelchair accessible other than that I can thoroughly recommend this beautiful “Quinta” for couples, families with children etc older relatives may struggle with acces also Internet isn’t always available but overall in a nice setting with lots of animals to keep you amused."

"This home is in a beautiful rural area yet close to the lovely historic town of Tomar. The views of the surrounding landscape are gorgeous and the property includes fruit trees. The home was immaculate and entry was easy. My partner and I both enjoyed our stay. A true delight!"

"Sehr schön eingerichtetes Häuschen mit schönem Garten. Sauber und gemütlich. Genau das Richtige um ein paar Tage zu entspannen. Da es etwas abseits liegt, sollte man sich vorher mit allem Nötigen eindecken. In Martinchel selbst gibt es ein kleines Café in dem man neben frischem Brot auch Obst und Gemüse bekommt. Mit dem Auto ist man in einer Stunde in Lissabon."

"Nous avons quitté les lieux plus tôt que prévu. La literie est catastrophique !!! Deux nuits ont suffit a nous casser le dos. Le logement n’est pas du tout adapté aux enfants, il manque cruellement de luminosité est très isolé de la civilisation. La cuisines n’est pas fonctionnelle ( pas d’eau chaud à l’évier, le peu d’ustensiles se délabre dans nos mains. La piscine se trouve dans le jardin des parents du propriétaire, donc il faut passer par un chemin de broussailles pour si rendre et une fois...
