"I was greeted kindly upon arrival and allowed to check in early which I appreciated greatly. Unfortunately the place wasn’t too clean, I found that my towels were stained and one side of one of my pillows also had some unsavoury marks. I also ended up with some itchy bites on my legs, so there is possibly a problem with bed bugs. "No one to let us in, another guest opened the lockbox. Room was clean, bed was comfortable, bathroom was complete, shower was good. Breakfast was help yourself, bread, jams, yoghurts, orange juice, tea and coffee, but no milk! Kitchen was well equipped, oven, hob, microwave, fridge freezer, coffee makers, etc. Bedroom was quiet with blackout shutters and a small french television. "Germaine was so accommodating and helpful specially it is my first time in Lourdes. She took good care of me. It was such a short visit for me and I always arrived late at night with the activities in Lourdes. She managed my visit well. A few items for improvement, blankets during cold weather, and towels for bathing. Never had the time to ask for these as I left early and arrived late, but am sure it can be accommodated. All in all a nice visit to Lourdes with my thanks to the host."

"Je ne recommande pas du tout cette chambre d'hôte. Pour moi chambre d'hôte c'est en compagnie de l'habitant. Pas même un verre d'eau offert à l'arrivée. Réception de nos chambres et le propriétaire est reparti en verrouillant toutes les pièces sauf nos chambres, refusant l'accès à la cuisine, nous indiquant qu'il n'était pas un gîte ! si j'avais su j'aurai choisi un gîte ! pas même de quoi se faire une tisane, pas de frigo. 2 chambres.Et il revenait marcher à 8h du matin au dessus de nos têtes....
