SItuated on Glen Lake this suite faces the gorgeous views offered in this natural setting; otters often dance across the lawn at dawn, and racoons at dusk.
room faces the lake and has a great view, with green walls, and accents.
The Master bed room has its own private entrance to the washroom and is decorated in warm hues of yellows.
The sitting dining kitchen area is open, and looks out to the lake, offering a peaceful view no matter which time of day.
Outside on the covered deck is a lovely glass table with 4 chairs, and there is also a charcoal BBQ, with the option of using our gas one if you prefer that. The deck is bordered with grass lawn, and leads to parking, or to the waterfront.
Glen lake is a great freshwater swimming area for at least 4 months of the year. It is stocked with 2 kinds of trout so if inclined you can try your luck at fishing.
For the nature lovers we have a local grey heron, a family of otter, at least one mink, a family of ducks, and a Canada goose family including last year's goslings who swim nearby. There are kingfishers, owls, bats, and bald headed eagles, and to those who observe well, there is drama on the lake most days.
We have a paddle boat which is easy to operate, bikes, and regularly engage in games such as bocce ball, and croquet for group activities. We also have a big rope swing for tossing yourself out into the water on those hot summer days (to be used with parental guidance only please). We also have bicycles of various sizes for use on the trail outside.
We have a dog named Adrienne, 2 cats, Princess and her shy son Dove, and chickens - not egg producing yet as they are all young at this time, who all live outside. Barbara, our resident granny has 4 budgies, who generally stay inside.
