"Only managed to spend 3hrs due to a delayed flight and rescheduled flight out. However, we chose Almarena Puerto Retiro Affiliated by Melia due to it's proximity to AEP airport, which was just 15-20mins drive away. The hotel is essentially serviced apartments - the room was clean and extremely spacious with a kitchenette, large king size bed etc. Didn't get to look at the other facilities, but on first impressions, would be happy to book this away. "

"This is a great unit and the staff were friendly and helpful and it's too bad that management has not updated the furnishings. When I first walked in the place seemed quite "dumpy" and unappealing. The bed was so/so. This impacted us when we'd come home after long days of walking and seeing the sights as there was no comfy place to relax.Sofa and easy chair needed replacing years ago!"

"This is the best hotel choice I’ve ever made. The apartment is of an enormous size and very beautiful. The owner lives on property and is as helpful as it gets, and also nice and smart. I’m coming back, bringing friends, and recommending it to everyone I know. Don’t worry about being not in the very center of the city, it’s much cozier here, and Uber rides are like $3. "

"The property was very clean and in a great location. The gym is great and also the sauna. The bedroom door was broken and even though I reported nobody came to fix it, you could not open and close the door to hang or fold your clothes. The jacuzzi was broken trough out the stay and the washing machines were broken for 2 or 3 days of my stay. "
