"A good offering for a cheap hotel. Rooms are quite small but the bed was comfortable enough. I would recommend brining your own shower gel though as the sachet the hotel provides is not very good. Would use this property again. "

"Wonderful location, walkable, 10 min from train station easy access through park, quiet, safe. Room was impressive, 2 bathrooms one with bathtub, kettle, lovely sitting area in room. Breakfast buffet was fantastic, plenty of options. Would recommend more coffee machines, always a line up!!! Would stay here again!!!!"

"We had a great (3-nights) stay at Strandhotellet. It is a lovely stylish hotel with a quaint atmosphere, and a short walk to the beach and restaurants. We received excellent service and the staff at this hotel were incredibly welcoming. Note if you stay during the warmer season: There’s no AC in the room or ventilation in the bathrooms. "Bearing in mind that it was a Youth Hostel and not a hotel, we were very happy with our accomodation. The room was large and had a fridge which was a big plus for us. The beds were comfortable and everything in the en-suite bathroom worked well. The only downside was a lack of electrical sockets - there were two in the room and the fridge had to be plugged into one of them but we managed by charging a power bank when we were out and using that to charge mobile phones. "Nice hotel in a handy location for rail and ferry travel. Really good selection of options for breakfast. Just find it a bit much to have to pay for a cup of coffee outside of meal times when many places in the world provide that for free. "

"This spacious cottage is well equiped and beautifully situated. It offered peace and quiet for us parents as well as fun and adventure for our kids (three teenagers). This is due to the wonderful beach that is within walking distance, but can also be accessed by car, and the fact that Farup Sommerland is near. At an half hour's drive there's Aalborg, excellent for shopping, visiting the zoo etc. Within a 5 minutes' drive you are in Hune though, where there's ample opportunity to get everyday...
