Fabulous location, across from a lovely park and an easy (well…OK…there IS the big hill to climb) 15 minute walk into the old walls citadel. We would absolutely stay here again!"

"Smelly property that did not feel clean, didn’t feel like a particularly safe neighbourhood - and the double door and strong locking mechanisms only made us more worried. Old towels, bedding didn’t smell clean, untidy bathroom. We stayed the night as a last resort and got out of there early in the morning. Went to Carcassonne a castle that was unexpectedly large and beautiful. "

"The only negatives I have for this property are that the hot water went away very quickly, there was no stopper for the bathtub, and the automatic lights were hard to turn on in the morning out in the hallway. It’s walkable distance to cite de carcassonne, but it is on the far end of town, pretty far away from the train station. It took me about 45 minutes in the rain. "

"An absolute gem. The Villa is very well appointed with custom finishes and furniture made by the hosts (their profession). It’s private, safe and a stone’s throw from the market for easy food shopping and all the necessities provided for home cooking. We stayed a week and did day trips in all directions. There is a beautiful courtyard garden ideal for relaxing before heading off for an evening meal at one of the good restaurants in the immediate vicinity (but be aware that many are closed on Wednesdays). An excellent place to stay for a short break in Carcassonne."
