Sleeping on a pull out couch was initially off-putting, but it is very high quality and fairly comfortable, and works for the space. So many birds to see and hear! Nice hiking trails on the large property, which has adjacent preserved land. "

The local towns have plenty to eat and do in the area. No Ubers or lyfts in the area so keep that in mind when going out at night. I can't recommend this place more. They even left slippers at the door."

The lakefront location on a quiet cove was ideal, with numerous opportunities for fishing, swimming, kayaking, etc. All equipment for enjoying these activities was in excellent shape. The cottage was very clean and comfortable. The only slight issue was finding the driveway to property and the road noise. A sound machine was provided and it was useful. We had a great stay here."
