"This villa is lovely and old and very spacious. The hosts are beyond charming and so helpful. We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. "Villa was centrally located in the Veneto region, which was ideal for visiting our relatives. The property manager was very responsive and friendly - even helped us set up a large catered family gathering on the premises. The only thing we didn't realize is that it is not a stand alone villa - the property manager and her family live on the premises. Although they were quiet and respectful, we could sometimes hear their daily activities."

"The property is charmingly unique. Although undoubtedly old, the rooms and furnishings are full of character and amazingly spacious. The balcony view over Lake Garda is fabulous and everchanging. All seven of us could stay there all day. The town is well situated for day trips around the lake and to the Dolomites. And Jeanne was gracious, available, full of information and very personable. It was a one-of-a-kind experience which we really enjoyed even more than the subsequent Italy/Greece...
