"It’s a country place. Wish there were some coffee or tea packs, and some napkins or paper kitchen towel in the kitchen. The biggest thing was looking for the property. We used iPhone map, and it took us to a place 30 miles north of it close to the Crater. After some unpaved road, we arrived at a cabin where there was a note on the window reads “this is not country dream guesthouse. It is 30 miles south from here”. So obviously we were not the only people came to the wrong place. The google map...

"Great location near local amenities, it is also at the local camping site. Reasonably priced, condition may not be the most modern, but ok. There is breakfast served at the camp site restaurant at additional cost, but did not try."

"Room was a bit small, hard to turn around in. I wish the bathrooms had towels for hand drying, I could never remember to bring mine for that. I didn't like that the reception area was separate from the guesthouse and we had to drive to it. Staff was great. Breakfast was excellent and I'm happy it was included. Everything was very clean."

"Absolutely gorgeous views. Ponies right outside the windows, rolling fields. Lovely hot tub that heated up fast. Clean, peaceful and beautiful. Owner was kind and helpful. Close to Selfoss and Hveragerdi. Close to riding stables. East drive to the crater, the geyser and Gulfoss. Everything we needed was provided. Traveling with our 5 children and everyone was comfortable and happy! Highly recommend! "

"This guesthouse is very good for the area and type of accommodation. Very friendly and quiet. No hassle Or waste of time to check in or out. Dinner was amazing and above average in Iceland (balance quality-price was quite good). Breakfast very good (by far very close or even better that most 4*hotels that I have ever been). Very cozy and warm room in a particular cold area."

"We were here in October 2017. Hotel was nice, had a shared kitchen that we didn't use. Can walk to a few restaurants nearby. There was a hot tub that was shared as well. We only stayed one night so we didn't try it out. It was a little difficult to find the place, and once we did we weren't sure about the parking situation. But we figured it out. The place was nice and clean. Would stay here again."
