"Lovely hotel close to Vatican museum and lovely authentic restaurants close by"

"Lovely hotel. My room was clean and very comfy. The breakfast is exceptional, tons of different options. Everything is close by. The only issue I had was reluctance of front desk with help to book a taxi service back to the airport. The lady at front desk told me it will be an issue because I was departing very early. She also told me to ask them to order a taxi when I will be checking out but the taxi might be unavailable. Lastly, she said that there are no options to order a taxi a day before. That is not true as I travel to Rome every year. Of course, I was able to book it myself with no issue through some taxi company. But that was a bit weird to hear something like that. "

"We were not fond of the 'expensive' or 'gourmet' restaurant. It was too expensive and the food was terrible. However, the breakfast and the daily restaurant were fantastic."

"The hotel is perfect for a family stay. We arr 5 people, we had 2 bdrms and separate living space/kitchen. Full size fridge, full equipped kitchen. We didn't use it, but it was available. Roof top terrace has an amazing view of the Vatican. Great options for breakfast and coctails in the evening. Cery accommodating staff. Best part is that it is 30 sec away from multiple restaurants. "

"Outstanding Experience at the Grand Hotel Olympic! I cannot say enough good things about my stay at the Grand Hotel Olympic in Rome. From the moment I arrived, the service was exceptional — they even checked me in seven hours earlier than the standard check-in time, which was a lifesaver after a long journey. The staff were professional, courteous, and genuinely eager to help with anything I needed. The room itself was spotless, with a spacious layout and a surprisingly large and well-appointed restroom — a real luxury in Rome! The location could not be better: just a five-minute walk to St. Peter’s Square and equally close to the metro (subway), which made getting to all the major sites easy and convenient without worrying about Rome’s notorious traffic. Breakfast each morning was fantastic. For those new to European breakfasts, expect fresh breads, deli meats, and cheeses — but on some days, they even offered a full hot breakfast, which was a wonderful bonus. Everything was fresh and delicious. If (or rather, when) I come back to Rome, I will absolutely stay here again without hesitation. The Grand Hotel Olympic truly made my trip unforgettable."

"The hotel is small but very clean and comfortable. All frontdesk staff are very courteous and helpful. Filipo is the one who checked us in, we did not get the names of the other staff but all of them are friendly. Breakfast staff are very attentive and cleans up after the guest. We were suggested to dine at a local restaurant La Locandia, we loved how reasonable the price is and the lady who attended us there is very nice and gave us Lemoncello before we left the restaurant. The location is just a five minute walk to St. Peter Square and maybe 7 minute walk to subway"

"The property is on a nice quiet street and very close to St. Peter’s. The room was very nice, comfortable bed, good shower and so nice to have a balcony. The hair dryer could use an upgrade, and there is no iron or steamer available in the room. I called down to the front desk and unless you use laundry service, also not available. Having access to an iron while traveling is important. We were asked if we wanted to add a €25 tip on the bill for the staff when we checked out which we found odd, and uncomfortable. "

"Nice hotel within 10 minutes walk of the Plaza Navone area. Room comfortable, good shower with toiletries. The only downside for us was no tea making facilities in the room. But I suspect that is an Italian thing. Overall very good. "
