"Super friendly staff a credit to the hotel. Rooms were great and the hotel benefits from a spa with gym and treatment rooms. Food in the first floor restaurant was outstanding and the bar has a happy hour downstairs from 3pm. Hotel is in proximity to a host of great restaurants and bars but dont be suprised if they dont open before 7pm. great base for Porto sightseeing. Probably a good idea not to bring a vehicle as parking is limited and expensive around the hotel."

This was hands down the most economical place I could find at the time of my travel and I'm glad I took advantage of it. The bare wall bathroom and "no window, just a box" theme certainly isn't for everyone but if you are looking for an efficient, and quite honestly sufficient, place only a few minutes walk from Bolhao market/via Catarina shopping area and/or 5min from Sao Bento station, this place is a find. "This is a charming, eclectic art oriented hotel. The flower room bar is delightful, a great place for photos. The location is great for sightseeing in the central historic district. What really sets this hotel apart is the staff. They could not have been more welcoming, helpful, kind and fun. We are definitely planning on returning!"

"Wonderful service at the front desk! The location is good... except it's on a BUSY / LOUD street next to a very loud tunnel. Beware if your room faces the street... bring a sound machine. Also... not a plush or comfortable mattress. Finally... as expected for Europe... my room was extremely small and tight... though the shower was decent sized. Overall... good location, GREAT service... but beware of the "noise"!"
