"Nicely renovated room with balcony. Despite being on second floor, great view. Well-appointed outside seating. Within easy walking distance of train station and beach. Good buffet breakfast. Friendly staff who made every effort to help me as my Italian is basic. The location can be noisy as trains can be heard and sounds can carry from the hallway - but the latter happens with most hotels."

They actually upgraded us to a sea view room at their newly renovated sister hotel which is right next door. MH Hotel Varazze. What a lovely sea view room with a nice bath, in room safe along with a mini fridge. Nice, quiet residential neighborhood. The daily continental breakfast is incredible and...

"Nice, well equiped, kind staff, excelent brakfast,clean, fantastic viev.Bathroom had a lot od places where you couf put, hang your things, and towels were so soft...but shower was very small. I should say.. if a guy iz XXL he would have some problems to close the doors, otherwise it was overall a nice place."
