This is a quirky little place. 10/10 for location. It’s immediately next to the sky train, which noise didn’t really bother us. There is a grocery store right across the street and a drug store less than a block away. And it’s decent value, even after all the taxes and fees. But it’s tired. Very tired. The grey wall paint is so sloppily painted it looks like dirt on the baseboards. The bath tub/shower is 1980 and has spots of paint on it as well. The bedding is the oldest I’ve ever seen in rental accommodation. The Endy bed is too soft if anyone is over 250 pounds. There’s no coffee table by the couch which although leather, belongs in a frat house. There’s only two dining chairs and one looks like the glue may let go. Two folding chairs in the closet work as coffee tables. There’s the smallest coffee maker ever and it leaks, so we put a plate under it. There’s no wine glasses or corkscrew. There’s one tea spoon. Just one. The dishes, pots, and flatware are garage sale level. The fridge has no handle. There’s no tea towels. Just numerous dish clothes. There’s bits of missing baseboards throughout. There’s two non-functional AC units stashed in corners. The second bedroom is a storage closet. The unit is ok for two people, but not more. Milly is sweet and quick to respond.
