"We were looking for a new location to stay on Red Creek and picked this one due to its location/‘private’ beach. Although the beach is ‘private and secluded’ from the public it is shared with two other cabins. We were there while another large family stayed in the other cabin, making the beach not so private and noisy. The beach itself is very nice, it could use some TLC— cans, cigarettes butts, trash clean up but overall not bad. The description was misleading, just be aware it is not truly...

"We really enjoyed out stay at Scarlet Cabin! It was so quiet and peaceful. We did have a little confusion checking in but we called April and she took care of us. The weather didn't cooperate so we didn't get to enjoy all the amenities but maybe our next visit! We will definitely love to come back!"

"This was an excellent choice for our late summer getaway. The cabin & property were just as described and our 2-night stay was serene and relaxing. We had a question about the wi-fi code, but one call to April was all it took. She solved the problem quickly and courteously. We enjoyed fishing one afternoon and tubing the next. What a delight!"

"The amenities this place offers makes your stay like being in your own home. We brought a boat and 2 jet skis and there was plenty of room to keep them in the water on the bulk head. You have access to the Pascagoula River, Escatawpa River and the Gulf of Mexico and barrier islands. I only wish we would have planned our stay for a few more days. "Wendel’s Place was the perfect place for my family to spend a relaxed week on red creek with my family. The kitchen is well equipped, beds comfortable and location is to die for. It’s quiet with a great view of the river and you can easily float from the cabin to City Bridge in two hours (good trip for small kids). We will be back. Probably soon."

"We have stayed at several beach houses on this road in the past. This one had everything… and I mean everything. Kayaks and the paddle board made the trip spectacular for our teen boys. This house was so nice and the location was perfect. Clean clean! Even the beach was clean so no worries for the younger kids playing in the sand. The elevator was the icing on the cake; made bringing up luggage and groceries so much easier for the older folks. We’ll be back!"

"This place was a great overnight stay on a multi-state trip. The hosts have thought of everything in this cute, calm, comfy cottage. Seriously, if you think “I wonder if there’s a…” in this place, I am positive you will not have to look far to find it in this place. Nicely furnished, quality bedding and a skylight too!"
