"Perfect location with easy walking access to all. Theres a delicious inexpensive restaurant right across the street. Other restaurants you can walk to as well, and the town is perfect and not too crowded and overrun, like some of the other Algarve areas. The beach and Algar Seco are approx 10minutes walk away. The room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. the room has an air conditioning unit. Very nice terrace just outside the room. The room is Nicely updated and attractive looking....

"They are renovating the proerty It is not ready My room had a broken shower door no water pressure and it leaked all over floor. They take only cash NO cards It is without a/c so windows open and street noise constant Church across street rings bells on the hour 9 am to 10 am Otherwise the service staff were very friendly and as helpful as they could be"

"This was a lovely boutique hotel with many nooks and lovely places to sit and relax. Our room was charming with a terrace that overlooked red rooftops and the ocean. Breakfast was yummy. A great location in the old historic city and we walked everywhere. We will be back !"

"Amazing guest house. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I immediately felt "at home". The room was lovely with a balcony where you can sit and enjoy a coffee. There are some amazing restaurants 10mins walk away and a cafe with a massive selection or coffees and bakes treats just around the corner. Also free parking right in front is an added bonus. "

"We had a wonderful stay at ocean view Hostel in Lagos! The hostel was impressively clean, and the daily housekeeping kept everything spotless. The pool area was a fantastic spot to relax, and the kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. "My first time at a “guest house” so not aware of the fact that there is no staff on site whatsoever except for designated check ins/outs. No amenities, no receptionist, no housekeeping, no security, etc. I left a shirt behind by mistake and couldn’t go back to pick it up because the housekeeping staff was on site for only a few hours and the receptionist was on site only when someone was checking in…not for a shift (9-3) for example. Extra firm (hard) beds and no noise protection from guests...

"Amazing hotel. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us so well, doing everything possible to help us during our stay. We stayed during my girlfriends birthday, and without asking, they delievered a birthday cake and bottle of champagne to our room, without any charge. It made our day. Beautiful rooms, great facilities, amazing breakfast. Thank you so much, we hope to stay again soon!"

Lovely villa with beach nearby

"It was our second time staying here. This time we decided to bring the whole family including 2 grandchildren under 5 yrs old. as before, the villa was very clean, comfortable and well equipped with high chair, cot and stairgate. Staff are excellent, especially David. They even did cleaning and changing sheets on Xmas Day! The location is amazing with beach nearby."
