We were able to enjoy being in the country while also being very proximate to cities, towns, wine tasting and other activities, like hilltop hiking. The kitchen was not the most convenient for home cooking for Americans used to a more modern kitchen, but we managed. Our hostess made our first dinner, which was so nice and so delicious. "This is probably the best hotel I've stayed in. I didnt actually realise I'd booked a 4* but you cpuld certainly tell. Someone took my bag at the door and to my room. The location is absolutely ideal. Perfectly between everything. As a solo traveller the room was just right and i had everything I could need. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone and hope I can return soon!"
