"This was an excellent stay. A charming woodsy resort. Old cabin style decor. Rooms were clean and well maintained and staff was helpful and attentive. It's a very nice location with balconies for every room. The rooms on the backside have a woodsy view. There is a conference center and a Pizzeria Uno on property. The continental breakfast is what you would expect but was still good. If you are looking for a relaxing place with a charming vibe this is it."

"the hotel accommodations were good because we had a room and a casino which is our main reason for picking Ameristar. The Starbuck's coffee machine was GREAT and GREAT price. The staff expecially handy man Brian was Great . The things i did not like in the hotel the carpet in room had a cigarettes smell and was stained. the fitness room lacked a bicycle for exercise and was missing 10 lbs. dumbbell's."

"Stayed in the older half of the property, room was still really nice and clean. Comfy bed and nice shower. Just stayed 1 night on a roadtrip, traveling solo, felt safe the whole time. Front desk staff was blah, forgot to write down or even tell me my room number, so had to go hack to get it once I realized it wasnt on my key envelope, security at casino was a bit of a jerk when I went the wrong way once. "

She had me come back down and she switched my room out with no problem. I then checked into my other one and it was nice, clean, and had no odor. Ms. Jackie was so helpful. "
