"Property is literally connected to the train station. At night there are a lot of homeless people that camp out there right on the train station steps, literally a few feet from the front door of the hotel. You have to get buzzed into the hotel, understandably. It might be a little bit awkward for someone traveling alone.... on a high note. It's very easy to get to public transportation and the rooms are nice."

Easy road access but at least fifteen minutes walk/funicular to get to cafes, shops etc. Book spa access slot in advance (free to guests), had it all to ourselves for 45 mins, which is nice, but they only switch it on as per bookings, so steam room and jacuzzi were not very warm when we used it."

"Generally a nice place to stay with good parking. Beds were a little hard and room was too hot ( unable to turn on cooling) but overall great staff and nice and clean. I think the reed diffuser is a bit overpowering in lobby. Breakfast is great with a lot of choice. No ramp to get heavy bags down to reception. Very small shower but great water pressure. We had a great view of the bay and Vesuvius after upgrading. "
