"Make sure when you are booking a room in summer that you specifically ask for an air conditioned one as most are not and it is not clear from hotels.com that this is the case. We thought from our booking that we had an air conditioned room! We had not, and In 35 degree heat, our room was unbearable! Hotel and staff are lovely."

"This hotel buildings are extensive and attractive, and it is in a wonderful location, one of its best attributes. It overlooks the main town toward the mountains. There's a great view from the terrace and dining room of the chateau and medieval city. Reception staff are welcoming and helpful. Facilities are good, with plenty of space, lovely grounds, a lift and lots of parking. Nous avons profité d’une magnifique vue sur Vaison et le mont Ventoux pour nos petits déjeuners! "We chose this villa mainly for the outdoor space, but were unable to enjoy it much during the cool weather in late September. Villa itself is small, modern and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Found sofa and beds a little uncomfortable personally, but generally clean and well equipped. The owner is helpful and easy to contact. Location is on the edge of a lovely village. House is semi-detached, but felt very private. Ten minute drive to Nyons for supermarkets/restaurants etc."

"We were part of 2 families staying at the house, 10 people in total. There was plenty of room for us all to spread out and not feel that we were on top of each other. It’s an old house which meant lots of uneven steps to and from the garden, this wasn’t an issue for us but worth bearing in mind if traveling with young children. The location is fantastic for trips into both the old and new town and so many places to visit less than an hours drive away. Pierre responded quickly to any questions...

"Check was good and quick. The accommodation was up a flight of steps, the place looked like a 1980 time share, just needed tlc, having said that, it had living room/kitchenette, separate bedroom and bathroom. The balcony overlooked the swimming pool and open area, and views of a golf course. Very quiet area. Bed was comfortable and clean, linen and towels were sufficient. No on-site restaurant or shop."

"Excellent hotel with friendly welcome and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable bed and reasonably spacious airy room. Well located in old part of the city with a short walk to the main sights and restaurants. "

"A very good budget option for self catering. Excellent quality bed and linen in a spacious one bedroom apartment. The kitchen had basic cooking utensils and was adequate for our needs. The golf course and lots of green space surrounds the property and it was easy to drive to Place des Italians for park and ride to Avignon. We would definitely stay again when driving from UK to our house in Spain. There was secure parking outside of the apartment and the car park gates shut overnight. It was a very comfortable, safe and peaceful place to stay. "

Great house, needs mosquito nets

"The house and property are beautiful and comfortable. The area has lots of mosquitoes however and gets quite hot in the summer months. Mosquito nets over the bed would make this much better. "
