"Torre a Cona is a stunning property. A palace castle in the middle of a gorgeous vineyard landscape. Peaceful and beautiful mornings with spectacular scenery. Friendly and welcoming staff. The hotel offers amazing experiences from horseback riding to truffle hunting and a cannot miss Tuscany cooking class. "This is the most amazing experience. We spent 5 days here. It is a little family run Agriturismo that is exactly what it states. No frills, but living as an Italian farming family would. "We needed a place to stay in or near Vinci for the night before our 3 week stay in a nearby villa began. Il Piastrino looked lovely and was VERY well priced. And it was exceptionally nice—from the spacious, charming rooms (surprise—we had a kitchen), the delicious breakfast, to the warm and welcoming staff. We arrived very late toward the end of a busy pris fixe am fresco dinner service but we were settled in and set at ease. And yes, we returned a few days later for the al fresco dining. Wow....

"Adorable property ( wish we could have stayed longer). Situated in gorgeous hills, quiet place. You really need a car or transportation to get here however. Out room was located on level one no elevator so up one flight of stairs. There is a washer and dryer available however they are more for staff use so you may need to wait a bit to use them. Breakfast was available for about 13 euro per person and to us it was well worth it. The restaurant where breakfast is served is upstairs so anyone...
