"Loved the hotel it was very easy to find we paid extra for a canal view which was lovely. Tea and coffee and biscuits in the room all welcome. Toiletries in the bathroom were very nice and a big bath towel! There wasn't a huge amount for breakfast but was more than enough to fill your plate over and over. The coffee was delicious! Parking isn't on site but you can drop your bags at the door and the car park isn't far to walk- we paid €8 with a card from reception. The staff were lovely. Would highly recommend."

"The staff at the Hotel Mondego worked very hard to make us feel welcome. We asked for directions, dinner suggestions and tour advice and they always had a ready answer and a smile. Loved the location in Coimbra, as well as our third floor room with a balcony view of the river. We had a wonderful stay!"

"Easy parking in front for checkin then very easy parking across the street included. Also the included breakfast buffet was wonderful. We upgraded the room to 5th floor close to breakfast buffet and drink bar. Nice roof top access for nice weather. "

"The hotel and staff were beyond amazing. They were genuinely friendly and helpful immediately to any of my needs. The grounds, too, were very interesting. I spent 3.5 hours walking trails in the forest. It was delightful and relaxing. I want to come again and have my friends visit as well."

"This was a great hotel. Nice clean room that was perfect for what we needed. Walking distance to the canal, gondola tours, shopping centre and restaurants. The staff was really helpful. We opted for private parking which was below the nearby mall - the hotel provides a swipe card and directions. A short walk back to the hotel, but felt very safe about leaving the rental car there. "

"We LOVED our stay here! Right from when we checked in, we got a glass of champagne and a snack, followed by a wonderful breakfast hand delivered to our room the next morning. Everything was spotless, and the staff was very welcoming. The only thing that you should be aware of is there is no lift, so if you can’t do stairs, ask for a main floor suite. Highly recommend this place in Coimbra! "
