"Gilles was an excellent host, and the house and yard are fantastic. We really enjoyed Rustrel and the surrounding area. In addition to the great bakery in town, we liked Au Pierrot Blanc in Apt (lavender ice cream) and horseback riding at the Horse Farm De Joucas (beautiful trail rides through vineyards, lavender fields). There are so many great things to do nearby that it's hard to choose, though! We enjoyed all of the helpful recommendations from Gilles."

"We had an idyllic week in early June as a family of 7 adults, so were able to make the most of the lovely pool and BBQ area. The property is beautiful and well equipped and the setting in Murs simply could not be better - a beautiful but off the beaten track village with some great walking on the doorstep, a fantastic restaurant in the village and an excellent boulangerie within a few minutes walk of the house. And really accessible for many of the other things to see in the Luberon and beyond,...

The host Danielle, provided excellent communication with us and the grounds keeper was also helpful. The house and property were outstanding - beyond our expectations - and all of the people with whom we dealt, being our hosts, Michele and Olivier (who we did not meet in person), the housekeeper Farida, and the property maintainer, Olivier, were lovely. "This house was perfect for friends to spend a weekend in the countryside, and the owner and Aunt that lives next door were so helpful and responsive. The pool was beautiful and home was clean, lots of dishes and cooking materials for hosting. It was difficult to find the home, so better directions would be appreciated for other guests. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and hope to come back some day. Thank you JB for your hospitality!"
