"This hotel is an absolute gem! The view from our room of La Concha Beach was by far one of the best views I've ever had from a hotel room. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. David the concierge went above and beyond for our stay. Make sure you ask him for restaurant recommendations. He will not disappoint. We did not want to leave! Thank you Hotel Villa Favorita for the excellent stay!"

"Lovely clean and modern hotel with secure parking and dog “friendly”. Staff were fabulous and were very helpful. Only eating option if you have a dog is room service (which I did) or leave the dog in your room (which I didn’t) Dogs up to 20kg allowed in hotel."

"Great service and advice from reception and in the restaurant where we also enjoyed excellent food and wine in a lively environment. Rooms are very comfortable (including the bed) but ours was not well sound-proofed. It was, however, ok when you had considerate neighbours."

"The hotel and its sister restaurant are well designed conversions of an old building. Both are clean and efficiently run, located in an old square in the middle of the old town. There are many restaurants and bars within a short walking distance. The town is charming and the people friendly. Although the reception is not occupied the whole day, the message sent before arrival gives details for access and parking (both therefore dealing with criticisms raised in prior comments). Rooms are of a decent size, ours was at the back, quiet and comfortable. The town at a weekend with its market was lively and interesting. Loved it!"

Beautiful home in a wooded area

"We met the owner at a nearby hotel since the short drive up to the house would have been difficult to find. Lasarte-Oria is not a tourist Mecca but San Sebastián isn’t too far away and taking the train is the best way to get there. It’s amazing that this house is on the VRBO rental program with its beautiful classy decor and art. Once you arrive, you’re not aware that you’re so close to Lasarte. There’s a lovely garden and it’s surrounded by woods. Up the hill are farms so the felling is quite rural. The hosts are very responsive and helpful. Highly recommend this special place!"

"The place is located in a very nice rural property, where you can enjoy nature, but not far from groceries and restaurants and a well located place to travel to the coast. The manager is very nice. The apartment is well equipped and we enjoyed the evening and breakfast on the terrace."
