"Nice quiet hotel within easy walking distance of the centre of York. Lots of bars and restaurants around the hotel. Hotel parking and a public car park are a short walk away. Very friendly helpful reception staff, we arrived early, they held our luggage and transferred it to our room when it became available."

"We had a spa day which was fabulous and then stayed over. We chose to eat in Charcoa restaurant on the evening. I ordered mince and dumplings and my friend Salmon. The food had obviously been there for sometime. Both meals were cold as were the vegetables. We sent them back and ordered a pizza which was cooked fresh. Everything else about the stay including breakfast was very good."

"The location of the hotel was excellent.We were able to walk all over York and felt safe doing so. Eating establishments, pubs and the York Minster itself were all very close. "Stayed in judges court hotel for 2 days , we was in room 6 with the roll top bath , room was lovely could not fault and the reception staff were welcoming . Had everything we needed also close by to the shops . Me and my partner were doing our paranormal investigations in our room and safe to say quite a few spirits came through especially the little boy named William who sits on the chair in the reception 👻. Haven’t been to York since I was a child and now returning 22 years later it’s fun...

"A perfect place for a couple and one single to stay in Sandsend. Very well equipped kitchen with all you could possibly need. The property was really warm and cosy for our New Year stay and the check in process using the key code on the safe box was so easy. You enter through a communal door - don't be put off by the entrance hall which could do with a bit of TLC to bring it up to the standard of the Beachside apartment - guess that is out of the jurisdiction of the owners of the individual...

"This is the perfect spot! Lovely, clean, comfortable. Has everything you need. We didn't spend much time here as we were out and about exploring. The location is perfect. There is a train station at the end of the road, so easy to get into Whitby to save the hassle of parking. And a really good bus service, which we used on the way back. There are also lots of other places around the area to visit, we would definitely book again if we were back in that area. "
