"Nous avons passé trois belles semaines à Cambo. Un environnement incroyable. Le logement est au top, avec sa petite terrasse et son espace vert pour se prélasser au soleil après la cure ou les visites. Au calme et à 5mn du centre de Cambo. "The property is rustic French and was perfectly OK in that milieu, but the external features were disappointing. The hedges were not cut and we’re untidy. The grass surrounding had not been cut and it generally did not look as smart as the web images suggested. I enjoyed my visit and as a pied-a-terre it was fine, but the owners need to improve the exterior. Having said all that I enjoyed my stay and only mention these concerns to help the owners."

Beware though if you need good wifi, there is only one router for several units and if all units are rented, the wifi becomes extremely slow. "This house is incredible. I've never stayed in a place as beautifully crafted and in such a beautiful rural setting. We cooked 4 nights as well and found the kitchen and outdoor grill to be well stocked. Our group was a family of 4 - kids were 18 and 14 years old. During our 5 nights stay we visited the nearby French Basque towns (including Espelette), we day-tripped to San Sebastian, went to Bayonne, Saint Jean de Luz, and Hendaye. Really fun week!"
