"Rooms were spacious, nice and clean. The hostess was really nice and she used to make for us one of the best home brewed coffee I ever had. If I will ever go back to visit the area,I will not look for any other options."

"Second stay here on our journey back to UK from Portugal. Great place, clean, comfortable and the owner is a gentleman. Local restaurant was closed this time of year, which was a shame as it’s really good food and good value but the owner pointed us to a place about 9 km away and the food was good and dogs were welcome. We will be back during our travels. Thanks"

"The hotel is in a very tranquil, country setting but not far from Bilbao. It is an old house that has been beautifully restored in a rustic manner. The lady, who seemed to do everything, was very kind and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable with a very modern shower. The evening meal and breakfast were plentiful and good quality. The only negative thing was that there was no lift and the stairs were quite steep."

"It was deep in snow when we arrived and my husband didn’t believe the sat nav so we were lost, we called the hotel and the owner actually got in his car in the snow and came and found us knowing we had an English number plate, well impressed! Great night stop over with a dog traveling to Andorra skiing."

"Our group consisting of 6 people stayed at Ulle Gorri at the end of September. The place is ideal to explore Basque country, we’ve made daily trips to Bilbao, St Sebastian, Guernica, Gaztelugatxe, Getaria, Vitoria Gasteiz etc. The house and surroundings is mesmerizing, with its calm and beauty. The owner of the house Ana was very helpful and friendly, introduced the house and the surroundings in detail, answered all of our questions. "Spacious and well appointed suite. Good convenient location just 10 minutes walks across the river from Guggenheim Museum. Easy access to shops and restaurants. Just be mindful that the carpark is at a separate location about 10 minutes walk/drive from abba suites. "

Bilbao Gem

"I loved this place! The exterior is beautiful and on the river, but then you walk inside and realize that an architect was very busy retrofitting this all! Very fascinating elevator ride to the top. The location simply could not be better. We were around the corner from all the evening fun, food, and drinks! The parking was off-property, but not too far. Lovely staff!"
