"First off this hotel tells people when you have there that you can pay $100 deposit or give them a $25 non-refundable deposit in order to get a room key which is a joke to me and so you have to pay this in cash and they will not allow you to pay this with a card the Africans at the front desk are very rude and nasty they're very rough around the edges there are people in the lobby sleeping dudes are walking around the building there are people having sex in the stairway this hotel is crazy they honestly need to shut this hotel down it's like going to the projects and seeing things you're not supposed to see weed smoke blunt nuts couples arguing and fighting in the next room and nobody calling the police bathrooms are nasty very nasty the side of my toilet look like nobody have never cleaned it never I didn't barely want to use it because the toilet bowl was very nasty on the outside of the toilet yeah the inside might have been clean but the outside on the floor behind the toilet smells like piss you have guys trying to get in rooms that are not there some many people are l lodging around this place who are "

"A friend of mine for over 40 years and I took a weekend together in Detroit for my birthday - this house was perfect. Exactly as listed, but with more charm. Quiet neighborhood, walking distance to some great shops and food, comfortable, well appointed, and immaculately clean. One of those places you just wish you had some more time to just "hang", and dive into the well stocked library. Great internet, appliances, washer/dryer - thanks for the perfect getaway. "

"This was by far the best home I’ve ever stayed in on this site & others! I truly felt at home and was so grateful. I needed somewhere to stay while dealing with a basement flood situation, a cozy space with a hot shower. This place beyond exceeded that! The best vibes, and immaculate style. Thoughtfully put together with everything you need and more! Also thankful for the host, a very kind person! Meant a lot during my stressful time. Loved the backyard too, such an awesome space with the perfect amount of sun! Really needed that relaxing outside. "My husband and I took the kids to Royal Oak for some shopping and to catch up with friends. Everyone really enjoyed how cozy the house felt, and we all agreed the beds were super comfy! It's located in the cutest neighborhood—very safe and just a short distance from downtown. I especially loved the "stone living room" because it was incredibly cozy and inviting. While it was a bit cold, my husband and I still enjoyed sitting in the back yard every once in a while as well.
