"Delightful few days away, beautiful hotel with everything we needed. Breakfast was great, a wide range of choices. Great location to go out on walks and find nearby pubs. Only downside is there’s nothing to say the spa isn’t included in the price, and the spa doesn’t have a swimming pool. Otherwise it’s very nice! "

"We’ve just arrived home from a one night stay and we’re very impressed with this hotel. This is a quintessential British old fashioned luxury hotel. The rooms are all individual and ours was very large with a wonderful view of Cheltenham racecourse. The oak panelled dining room, gave a feeling of grandeur without being stuffy and the food and serving staff were excellent both at dinner and breakfast. The hotel grounds are magnificent and we made use of the heated outdoor pool and spa, which was clean and not too busy. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wish now we had booked for longer."

"Very professional welcome and check in process with clear guidance on how to get to my room. Room decor was dated but it was very clean and bedding/towels were spotless. Bed was very comfortable. Good amenities in the room. Sadly I didn’t get to use the pool/gym due to my arrival/departure times. The building itself is very impressive and the grounds were lovely- I can imagine that drinks on the terrace overlooking the garden in good weather would be quite a special experience. The restaurant areas looked very nice but I did not eat there. I would book to stay again in the future. "

"Parking was easy and check in was smooth and efficient. The room was quite small but comfortable. Very comfortable bed which meant we slept well. We did have a problem with our key cards though. For some reason they worked once but then they wouldnt work again so we had to keep going to reception to get a new one. Breakfast was ok but we didnt have cooked. The spa was nice but there was nowhere to sit as all tbe loungers were being used. They could do with a few more seats really. The area around the poolside was extremely slippery. There were large pools of surface water as we walked around the pool and my husband actually slipped as we went in but luckily i caught his arm and stopped him from falling. It made me quite nervous after that. "
